Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at my local Wings Etc in Portage Michigan.

Time

This was shot in the early evening on a Friday around 10 pm, taking a break from photographing some cars in the local cruise scene.

Lighting

Just typical sports bar lighting nothing special.

Equipment

All that was used was Canon EOS SL1 with 50mm 1:1.8 lens

Inspiration

Was one that just happened. I always get the same two waitresses when go here as they're always good to me, and very personable, which often makes for good conversations as well. However Fridays are busy, and made comment of how quickly everyone was rushing around and I should document it.

Editing

No I rarely post process, am a photographer not an editor.

In my camera bag

Normally it's just Canon EOS SL1 on the digital side and a Nikon F40 film camera. Lens wise I make sure to have a 50 mm for each camera, as just enjoy shooting 50 mm and a zoom lens, no specific on that just whatever is handy that day.

Feedback

It's all in just having fun with camera. Different angles, shutter speeds, and aperture settings until get what you like. Wish had some long technical explanation for you here, but it's just this simple.
