a Black & White scene of a bygone era of railroading. in the 1980's railroads were getting rid of lightly used trackage as fast as they could. This scene from Superior Wisconsin shows the rough trackage typical of what railroads wanted to abandon back then. A short time later this trackage would all be gone, today it is just a grassy field no longer served by the Soo Line.
