Wine….… Ha ha ha. In South Africa the Protea is our national flower and there is a Wine farm in Cape Town that has a wine named after the Protea. I was drinking the wine and I happened to receive a bunch of proteas earlier in the week. And I thought let me bring them togetherEditing

I would say the lighting and the positioning of the subject is important. For this specific shot I wanted the focal point to be on the detail inside the protea and the background to be blurred.
