Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in area near the park I used to live by in Lawton, Oklahoma

Time

It was during the day time, some time before noon

Lighting

Lighting is important for everything that I do. It can define an image in more ways than one. Even the tiniest light can show you something amazing

Equipment

At this point in time I only had a smartphone with a good camera thankfully

Inspiration

It was the largest dandelion in the field and vi had to make sure I caught it before the wind did

Editing

The post processing I did was with contrasts, highlights , and shadows. I wanted to give the subject a bit more “pop” . But I’ve gotten better to where I don’t need post to do the same thing now

In my camera bag

Nowadays I keep my Sony a6500 and slr magic microprime cine 50mm camera lens on me. That’s all I really need since I don’t need a tripod for a majority of what I do

Feedback

Don’t be afraid to get down into the grass. Get as close as you need you to grab focus. There are some photos that need a little elbow grease
