Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taking in the living room of my apartment. My cats have a special bed on the edge of the couch. Which I’m thankful they love so much, it saves my couch.

Time

I took this photo somewhere around 2am. Me and my fiancé like to stay up late and watch Netflix. Sometimes the cats like to join in as well.

Lighting

I did not use a flash. They lamp we have was on and after I seen the photo through my lens I just knew it was perfect.

Equipment

I used a cannon with a 55mm lens.

Inspiration

I love my cats. To me they’re part of the family and I’d like to think they will see how much I love them and stop eating my phone charger.

Editing

I had to take a few pictures to get the one I wanted. I. Enjoy doing dark photography. I love when pictures look old.

In my camera bag

I’m still a little new at This so my bag is growing but for now I just have the basic stuff. My cannon camera. The 55mm lens. I have the photography bible, which has helped me.

Feedback

The lighting in this picture is what really helped me to see how I wanted it to look. I would have to say, make sure the lighting is how you want it and take a few pictures till you find the one you can not look away from.
