I took this photo from my backyard. I have tried and tried to get him in mid flight from the feederTime
This capture was in the middle of a Florida summer afternoon. Had an exhausting day at work and seen he was feeding. I got my camera and waited for this hummer to come back to eat. These guys are fastLighting
This one is all natural light in the shade. I was worried that it was not going to come out like I imaginedEquipment
This one was with my nikon d3200 and the 70mm 300mm lens.Inspiration
I have always tried to get birds in flight it is a challenge for me that I have not mastered. Getting the shutter speed, f stop, and iso just right. I still have a ways to go but I was pleased with this one after lots of images.Editing
The only processing I did for this one was crop and took out some noise. In my camera bag
Now I have upgraded to a nikon d7200 and have the kit lensn18 140mm . I also carry a 50mm and a 12 20mm . I got a new tripod victiv and love it. I would recommend this all dayFeedback
Keep trying and trying until you achieve what you want. It is hard not to give up but in the long run well worth the capture.
