Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Shadow Hill California, a suburb of Los Angeles.

Time

I spend hours at weekends sitting quietly under my patio waiting for and watching birds in the garden. At the end of the day, a popular feeding time, this little guy showed up to eat.

Lighting

Shot in the light of dusk.

Equipment

Shot with Canon Rebel and a 300mm canon lense.

Inspiration

I leave seed and nuts out to attract a wide range of birds and other wildlife to my garden. This little guy made a home in one of the huge Ficus bushes on the property.

Editing

I use Lightroom and Photoshop the edit my photos.

In my camera bag

I carry several lenses and lens cleaning supplies and plenty of memory cards and spare batteries.
