The wife and I were walking, in this small nature preserve in Drymen, Scotland, late one evening around 9 or 10pm when I looked up and noticed the abstraction created by the strand of trees. The first thing I thought of was Alfred Hitchcock's,"The Birds". Though there were none seen, I kept imagining a hoard of ravens or magpies swooping down on us.
