I climbed up Pen-Y-Fan mountain at night in hope of capturing the milkyway and it's galactic centre, while it was visible. Unfortunately light pollution from nearby villages proved to be a big problem.
I decided to stay the extra few hours so I could hopefully catch a nice sunrise. Through the night I could see what looked like mist forming in the valley of the mountains, by the time the sun started to rise I was greeted with this incredible cloud inversion and an absolute stunning sunrise.
The resulting image is of a view of Cribyn, with the cloud inversion and stunning sunrise behind it, showing the tips of the surrounding mountains starting to peak through.
