This photo was taken in my backyard in Wisconsin. I have a pair of Sandhills that would visit daily from spring till fall. First year no colts. Second year they returned and only saw the Mr for a few weeks, then alas he brought the Mrs and this little beauty.Time
Image was taken in early evening. They would come a few times a day to feed under my bird feeders and peck at the corn left for squirrels.Lighting
Since image was taken early evening I had a nice soft sunlight the was filtered through the nearby trees.Equipment
This was shot with a Sony 7aRIII and Sony 100-400 lens.Inspiration
I seen the little colt walking through the plants and flowers almost like he was playing hide and seek then he popped out and I snapped the shot.Editing

Typically pack my Sony 7aRIII and 100-400 lens but also a walk around lens. I also use Canon 5D Mark IV with macro or 100-200 lens.Feedback
Always have your camera ready, batteries charged and memory card in camera.
