I was standing on the board walk at McQueen's Slough, Dawson Creek, BC, taking pictures of this Tree Swallow in the nesting box. My husband slipped around behind me which caused this little one to scoot back inside the box. Then she peaked out again cautiously and looked around the side of the box to see where he had gone to.
