A detail from the David Bowie 'Earthly Messenger' bronze-cast statue in Aylesbury, England, by Andrew Sinclair. The crowd-funded artwork was unveiled on March 25th 2018. The late musician made his first appearance in the guise of Ziggy Stardust at Aylesbury's famous Friars music club, in 1972. The statue incorporates various persona adopted by Bowie during his career. It has its own webcam and on the hour, fans can be spotted dancing when a track by the late musician plays at random from a built-in audio system.
