The time of day the shot was taken was approximately 8:30 PM..Lighting
The lighting was given to me by nature. The colors were extraordinary.Equipment
Camera used with a Nikon D8 10 with a 24 to 70 mm lens. This was shot at 24 mm. Hand held no flash.Inspiration
I waited for over an hour for the light to become this beautiful. Once I saw the exact moment I took the shot.Editing
Post processing was to craft the horizon line slightly straighter and bring down the highlights and slightly up the vibrance.In my camera bag
I always carry my D8 10 with a Nikon SB5000 Flash. Are usually use a rogue/vendor for flash shots because it’s so portable. I also always carry my Odin triggers when taking portraits so I can take with off-camera flash. I always carry lots of extra batteries and extra memory card.Feedback
Be patient and wait for the right moment to take the shot. Know exactly the vantage point that you want to take it from.
