An exhibition mock-up of the Radio Caroline North studio. The unlicensed commercial station broadcast to the Isle of Man, Northwest England, Ireland and Scotland from 1964 - 68. The immensely-popular station's North studio was aboard the former passenger ferry Fredericia, anchored in Ramsey Bay off the Isle of Man. Caroline South broadcast from the mv Mi Amigo off the Essex coast. A 21st century version of Radio Caroline currently broadcasts legally in the UK.
