Visit to famous Ancient Thien Mu Pagoda, Imperial City of Hue. We never think of Vietnam as being cold but it was a chilly day, with light morning drizzle. People broke out the rainparkas in different colors, but the purple ones were my favorites. See crystal raindrops sparkling on centuries-old bonsai trees surrounding the monastery. Very serene and calming except for quiet footsteps of visitors in awe of the naturally "arty" setting and our new discovery of history in this imperial city.
