I took this photo in Embourg near Liège in Belgium.Time
This photo was taken in the late morning hours in the forest, so I thus avoided the hard lightLighting
Taking this photo in the forest, I avoided the hard light. On the other side. My background is bokeh due to the light pathing through the treesEquipment
Nikon D750 with Tamron 28-70 (2.8) mm lens. No tripod, no flashInspiration
I was at the 4th edition of Embourg's reenactment Camps on the Second World War. Bivouac Belgian, English, US, Civilian and Germans were present. I tried to get photos as close as possible to the reality. That's also the reason of my b&w photos fot my set of photos I shooted that day. A cigarette break of this GI is certainly a real situation which happened during the second world war. This was my inspirationEditing
On converted to B&WIn my camera bag
