This is an excellent example of how to take a simple scene and turn it into an outstanding image. The sloping landscape is a nice leading line drawing the eye to the Red Eared Slider. The background is blown out so as not to be distracting, and the turtles reflection in the pond is a nice touch. The perspective is perfect as well, you got down low so as to be eye level with the subject. Very well done Michael.
