Location
This photo was take in the Kruger national park South Africa.Time
The picture was taken mid morning with a small herd of Impala.Lighting
The lighting was overcast reducing the shadows and harsh light.Equipment
Nikon D5 handheld no flash used.Inspiration
The mutual interdependence of the bird and buck drew my attention. Particularly the patience shown by the buck will the oxpecker looked for ticks.Editing
Cropped the composition ,sharpened and saturated the buck slightly for contrast against the background. In my camera bag
Nikon D6 and D850 with 500mm f5,6 lens and zoom 120 to 300mm f2,8 mm lens as well as a Nikon DF with a 24- 700mm lens.Feedback
Look for the detail in the normal scenes for something special. There normally always is something interesting to zoom in on.
