She's small as mountains go, but our mountain isn't in any way tame. Countless climbers have underestimated her to their peril. At best they can be airlifted to the nearest drama hospital; at worst they are frozen forever never to be found. the first year we moved up here the mountain claimed 4 climbers. A little luck, brains and those nifty climber-finder doodads the climbers can carry would go a long ways to finding and helping an injured climber. And, for Pete's sake, don't climb in the dead of winter with a storm blowing in!
