Flamingo trio captured in the Chaxas lagoon in the salt flats of the Atacama desert (Northern Chile). The birds were constantly digging for shrimp brine. The Andean flamingos are recognizable by their black feathers on the tail (the Chilean flamingos have pink feathers on the tail). Photo taken late afternoon, with zoom.
