Location
It is the Kuand Si waterfall, near Luang prabang, which is a very spectacular country town in LaoszTime
I was a member of an excursion group, we reached the area of the waterfall at about eleven. Unfortunately the service boy of the gas station filled petrol into the Toyota microbusm insted of gasoline. So, we had to wait an hour at the station.Lighting
Actually there was bright sunshine, but at the waterfall the air was full of sprayed water, so the light was a little bit hazy.Equipment
I use my usual, old Canon EOS 600D with a daylight filter, and the basic zoom lens.Inspiration
The environment here is breathtaking. There are a couple of waterpools, I took a short bath. Short, because, contrary the crystalclear water, the temperature is the water was not hughet, than 10-12 C.Editing
I use Photoshop 7 to optimize the white ballance and the sharpness, if it is necessary.In my camera bag
Photo camera, long macro zoom, polaroid filter, plus one battery, macro converter tubes, videocamera. Near sunset a tripod too.Feedback
If anybody wants to take photos of the beautiful nature, never seen historical wonders, exotic people and their livin area you have to travel far.
