Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken downtown Nashville in an alley way. It was dark so I had to adjust for the lack of light.

Time

This photo was taken around I would say 5 pm in the fall.

Lighting

I envisioned this photo to be different as in taken in the day but it worked out and is a beautiful image.

Equipment

This was taken with a Nikon D7000 and a Tamron 24-70mm lens.

Inspiration

This couple booked an engagement session and I wanted to try for something different.

Editing

Since the photo was dark because of the lack of light, I tried to lighten it up as much as possible without pixelating the image worse than what it was.

In my camera bag

Now that I have upgraded, I carry a Nikon Z5 and a Nikon D750. Lenses: Sigma 24-70mm, Tamron 70-200 and a Tamron 85 mm.

Feedback

Don’t be afraid to increase you ISO and add grain to your image.
