I had the opportunity to help release this beautiful creature from a soccer net with the help of my son, and his MCROTC instructor. The proud thing was scared to death. We took turns cutting the net from the owl,while my son held him. I am thankful it had a happy ending and no one was injured in the process, including the owl.
