Memorial Morning

The spire in the distance of this photo is the centrepiece of the International Bomber Command Centre (IBCC) nr Lincoln, England. The height of the spire is the same as the length of a Lancaster Bomber. The centre tells the story of the much maligned Bomber Command history through cutting edge technological displays and displays. Around the spire are metal walls which have been carved with the names of all aircrew lost whilst flying Bomber Command missions. It is the only Bomber Command memorial on the planet.
