There were outrageous clouds all day this September, and as the sun set,
the sky lit up red and orange. It was spectacular.

As the sun hit the mountains, the initial colors were reddish-orange for a several minutes providing brilliant lake reflections

Nymph Lake, in Rocky Mountain National Park, can be found on the trail from Bear Lake. The lily pads became more prevalent in late summer, September.

Little Mountain Stream, Smoky Mtns.

At Seal Rock Beach State Park, Oregon there is a flowage into the Ocean. It forms an S curve and at sunset, the ripples are more apparent.

A snowfall overnight made little Herbert Lake a wonderful place to shoot the sunrise. The lake was placid allowing for great mountain reflections.

[The snake like rutted crack is near the Fossell Exhibit Trail, and leads to the mountain peaks in the background that lights up with the sunrise.
