JASON KELCE Philly EAGLES wearing Philly MUMMERS costume to celebrate the long-awaited quintessential "Philadelphia Moment"

The most stunning surprise this year was how the EAGLES, perennially laughed at, scoffed as “Underdogs,
went on to win the 2018 52nd SuperBowl Championship.
For an NFL offensive lineman to be 6-foot-three, Philadelphia Eagles JASON KELCE, was deemed “Undersized."
However, when it came to finding a parade outfit for him to wear, his size actually worked in his favor!
How did Jason Kelce end up wearing the Mummers’ spectacular outfit? It was thanks to his long-time Philly hairdresser. Her husband, business manager for the Mummer’s Avalon String Band, knew someone who, miraculously, was able to locate an outfit from 2008—the only costume-- in their “archives" that would fit the 295-lb-Eagles MVP.
Of course, this magical suit not only lit up the crowds but went on to ignite the powerfully impassioned speech Jason Kelce made when he got off the parade bus onto the steps of the Fairmount Art Museum. (youtube)

By the way, in Feb., Kelce also wore this colorful Mummer’s attire at the Mardi Gras parade in Manayunk. Marching along with his former high school band, he played his baritone saxophone in support of music. Talented dude!

I videotaped (Sony DSC-HX80) the Superbowl parade in Philly and did a screenshot of this frame. One of those rare occasions where I was lucky enough to get a good view!
