This is my second attempt at making a long exposure picture; this time I was more prepared. I had my viewfinder cap, my IR shutter release (via my phone) and my trusty tripod. I went back to the same place that I tried it the last time and feel a lot better about the result, this time.
The exposure time was 6 minutes. It was just before midnight, so there wasn't a lot of traffic on the road.
