In May 2006, my spouse and I visited Yellowstone National Park and the surrounding area. We were driving back to Yellowstone after visiting Jackson Hole, WY when I saw this developing scene. I quickly pulled over in a safe spot, set up and took this photograph. Converted to black and white in Lightroom CC classic, with some other adjustments. Waited about 5-10 minutes for this composition, captured in 1-1600th of a second.
