"Milky Way over Shinnecock Inlet"
Clear skies and an early moon set created some of the darkest skies I've seen here in a long time. New York, Long Island and the metropolitan areas are probably the most light polluted parts of the country, but sometimes you get the right conditions to shoot the Milky Way. This morning was one of them. You just have to head east. The farther east you go, the darker it will be, for New York that is.
