I had envisaged this image for some time, so I collaborated with a work colleague who has wonderful, engaging eyes and she was most co-operative.
It was taken in an upstairs office where I work using available window light only.
As you can see, she has magnificent eyes accentuated by her makeup and attention to detail. I had her stand facing a large window with a south eastern aspect and facing the window. Window light is a great manageable source.
I wanted a reasonable depth of field so chose f-8 and had her look directly into the camera. I focussed on her eyes and filled the frame.
