This plant in this picture is common in the Mojave desert area. I moved from the Mojave area to central Florida and saw this plant In the town of Ocala. I said to my husband, “looks like a desert flower decided to go on vacation.” I guess everything needs a break from 120 degree heat.

My view of what a space plant may look like, especially if it were about 7 feet tall.

The monarch, yellow butterfly and bumblebee all share a meal together. The diversity is abundant in this image, and how all these insects peacefully

They just stood there as I took their picture. Almost as if they were purposely "striking a pose."

Although snow rarely falls in the desert, anything can happen with our ever changing weather. The snow on the palms trees created a beautiful wintery

A pier like many in Southern California, however, this pier reminded me of spider legs.

Surrounded by dead driftwood, rocks, and cold sand, this little plant managed to bring life to its surrounding.

Although this may look like "smoky" mountains, it's actually clouds rolling in over the hills.

Whoever drives this bulldozer is lucky to have this view!

The beach is so pretty to look at, but today it is too cold to go in the water.

Perhaps the wind kicked up the sand, or a motorcycle left it's trail of dust, either way, it left us with an interesting image.

Another lazy day of gliding along the pond and looking for food.

No sun, only marine layer and the promise of rain in the air.

I see more and more of these unique cloud formations and snapped a picture of this one due to its size.

Just driving along the coast and the sign read, "Ocean view." It was worth taking a look.
