Bonito (region) Mato Grosso (state), Brazil. Meet 22 year old Lara. A very sweet blue macaw. She loves posing for the camera. A visit to Brazil to visit family. Took a short trip to the southern state of the country with my aunt and uncle. This is a sanctuary for birds like Lara and many other species of monkeys in a beautiful rural region also home to spotted leopards. And many waterfalls.
