In the heart of Vienna there floats the Donaukanal, the Danube channel, an artificial sidearm of the Danube river. Mostly devastated until the 90ies it´s now a huge and beloved recreational area, especially from the younger generations. You find a lot of bars and small restaurants with beachbar character. And you can, if you like, attend free tango lessons below a bridge... :-)
