Location
This photo was taken at the fabrication yard in Dallas. It was my first time photographing people instead of nature so I was shadowing my younger sister who is also a photographer. They had collaborated with two dancers studying at a Dallas College. Here I was practicing to capture movement.Time
This was taken in the late afternoon/early evening. We were inside of an abandoned storehouse.Lighting
For this shot only the natural light and shadows were used.Equipment
Only my Canon Rebel T5. I was an amateur at the time still learning the ropes.Inspiration
The dancers movements were so amazing. My goal was to capture him as best I could when he made his high jump poses.Editing
Nothing! This is raw and unedited. At the time I still had not learned of post processing. In my camera bag
I always bring my two kit lens as they can zoom in but I never leave without my 50mm. Never know what could pop up that needs to be captured so it’s always good to have different lens.Feedback
Practice practice practice! Get out their and photograph.
