A beautiful pied kingfisher resting on a branch after cleaning its nest. Kingfisher builds its nest on the banks of the river, deep in the Island and nearly 50-100 meters will be the depth of their hollow nest. They generally come out in the mornings to get food for the young ones, afternoon they rest on the nearby perch watching the nests, protecting the young ones from intruders. They always live in pairs
