A silhouette of a statue found in my local Fallen Heroes Memorial during the Golden Hour. The original background turned out very dull, with light colors of blue and gold. I come from a family of veterans who have fought in every war that the US has ever been involved in, I wanted this beautiful silhouette to truly stand out, so after removing all of the unfortunate power lines, I used the gradient tool to use the golden colors from the image to build them up. I think that I ended up creating a background that really gave the subject the respect that it deserved.
