Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken at Moraira town in the City of Alicante. I am not a professional photographer but I know that I have a passion for photography as I love taking pictures and every shoot is pretty much a new lesson for me.

Time

This is probably one of my favorite images. I remember it was about 2 p.m and I had been walking a good distance in the heat and wasnt sure that the battery would last in the hot weather. I had no tripod so I tried to balance the camera as best as I could. It was one of the best afternoons I can remember, walking around under the hot weather and looking out toward the sea while others were busy sun bathing and swimming.

Lighting

I wanted this image to look more interesting and to draw the viewers into a scene in a story. It was nice weather and summer had started and the flowers had started to blossom. I felt it was the right timie to take photos because of the bright color of the sky on this lovely sunny day.

Equipment

This was shot on a Panasonic DMC-LZ40 with 1:3.0-6.5/4-168 ASPH 22mm wide lense without any other equipment.

Inspiration

I have always been inspired by nature. When I search photos through Google and see some amazing photos, I always dream to capture such wonderful scenery.

Editing

Yes I balanced the colour and contrast before submitting.

My Panasonic DMC-LZ40 camera and a battery charger.

Feedback

Plan ahead of what time would be best to go out and capture this type of picture. Research the place you want to take your pictures, and always have lots of patience.
