Behind The Lens

Location

It was Christmas time 2017 and we went to the land of lights here in College Station with the daughter and son in law and granddaughter

Time

Of course it was evening time given it’s a Christmas light show that you ride a hat wagon thru to enjoy the millions of lights and decorated scenery

Lighting

Took the shot without the flash in order to get the full effect of the lights reflecting off the pond in front of the display

Equipment

Used one of my two Nikon cameras. I believe it was my D5100 with a telephoto lens of 100-300 mm.

Inspiration

I liked the photo because of the reflection in the pond was perfect. The water was so still that it made the shot look like it was a mirror image of itself. Plus the colors were so bright.

Editing

No post processing That was the image I took

In my camera bag

My two Nikon cameras D40 and D5100 The d40 has variable lens up to 55 mm The d5100 has my 100-300 telephoto lens That way I don’t have to change lenses while shooting I just grab the camera for the right shot that’s needed For the right shot

Feedback

Just have camera or cameras ready for the condition of the area or place and time of your photo shoot
