Location
In February 2018 I was for the first time in Africa. During our stay in Kampala (Uganda) we visited Makerere University. I was surprised to see these birds (Marabou) all over the trees in campus. So that is how and where that photo was taken.Time
Well let me think, hmm, I guess it was somewhere around the midday.Lighting
Day was very hot with lots of sunshine jet there were some clouds on the sky which makes the background of the photo perfect blur.Equipment
Picture was shot with Nikon D750 and Nikkor 18-200/3,5-5,6 lens without tripod. Exposure was 1/640 sec at F/5,6, ISO 250 and 200mm.Inspiration
In country I am coming from we do not have such big birds in the cities. Just pigeons or magpies. Seeing so big colony of big birds in the campus area and also in the city was a new experience for me.Editing
In this photo I didn´t do any post-processing.In my camera bag
When I am travelling, I have my Nikon D750 always with me. I have also Tamron 24-70/2,8 and because I don´t have big zoom lenses for full frame camera I use Nikkor 18-200/3,5-5,6 which is better then nothing for now.Feedback
Just keep your eyes opened and do not forget the camera. Than you have a chance to catch a good moment.
