Wonderful to go and photograph my pelican friends again.
I do love shooting these guys, though I've only done it twice, but there is something very engaging and mesmerising about them. I'd like to shoot them in the rain too, I like the water on their feathers.
I was going to process this as a much lighter and whiter shot, to contrast my earlier darker pelican series, but somehow I am drawn back to an ominous scene. I can't help myself. They still remind me of a Nazi bird platoon
