Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Navarre Florida. It is the bridge going over to the island

Time

I was coming home from a shoot and the closer I got to home the more brilliant the sunset was getting. This was taken around 8pm a night.

Lighting

I usually try to underexpose all sunrise and sunset photos just a tiny bit and then in post processing add a touch of light in specific areas.

Equipment

Canon 5d Markiii

Inspiration

The colors as the sun was setting. I always get amazing sunset and sunrises off the waters.

Editing

There is little post processing to this. I did bump my blues up just a tad bit

In my camera bag

Depends on what my goals for shooting are going to be. I have a nice 15-30 for my landscape, 100 macro which I love to use, and recently just purchased the 70-200 and loving that also.

Feedback

Be patient as some sunsets don't look like they are going to be much at first and in a matter of just seconds that can all change to brilliant colors
