This photo of Detroit river with the Ambassador bridge in the background was taken in Windsor Ontario. I frequently go for walks along the river and other places that are around nature like water and trees.Time
It was taken in the spring at sunset around 8pm.Lighting
It was actually just perfect timing. The photo didn’t need any special lighting or adjustments.Equipment
I honestly used my phone which is an LG 6. It has a manual mode that you can adjust the shutter speed, Aperture, focus etc... no flash. Just a straight shot no fancy adjustments.Inspiration
I was just out for a walk. I had heard something behind me so I turned to see what it was and got an eye full of the beautiful sunset. As I looked downward I noticed the rocks were a grey, the sky was reflecting well in the water and the water was calm enough to add some ripples, all of which just added depth and a nice scheme of colours along with the grey of the rocks. I loved how the landscape just naturally drew me from the rocks, to the rippling water, then into the distance to see the bridge and sky, all so naturally.Editing
