This photo was taken in my living room. it took me about 10 tries to get it right. the model wasn’t cooperating so I had to be patient.Time
It was in the afternoon.Lighting
The sun was high and room was filled with natural light coming from one source-big sliding door. What else can you wish for?Equipment
I used my canon 6D Mark II with 24-105 L. The light was just right for low ISO. Shutter speed was fast so I had total control over camera shakeInspiration
Jayda is 10 yo and developed hips problem. she was growing up together with my kids and was very active but lately she lost interest for physical activity. Laying around the house becomes her favorite thing to do. In the shot she looks like she is having a nice afternoon nap but deep down she just want to go outside and run, play ball and have funEditing
I use Mobil Lightroom and Mobil photoshop for most of my editing but for this particular picture I just use one of ViewBug filters if I remember correctlyIn my camera bag
I pair my canon 6d mark II with canon lenses I have 3. 75-300 kit lens from my previous rebel t6i chip but get some nice shots, 24-105 4L my favorite for every occasion, and 50 1.4 when I’m out with family for nice head shotsFeedback
I think It’s all about being in the right place at the right time when it comes to photographing your pet’s natural character. Take lots of shots using different settings and do it quick as even old dogs like little kids alway on the move
