This is the first series of self-portraiture I've taken for a few years. I always feel very nervous sharing work of myself but was pleased that the power and conviction in my eyes in this shot carries confidence in the photograph. I always feel it's important to work both sides of the camera so you can empathize with your models when you work with them.
