This photo was taken at Kananakis Lake, Alberta while touring our German cousins around the beautiful sites in the Rockies. It was a perfect day.Time
This is one of my favorite photos ever taken mid afternoon after a short hike and picnic at the lake.Lighting
The afternoon was so perfect with sun and no wind making the lake glass like.Equipment
This is a shot taken with my older camera, a Canon 70D with a 18-200mm lens, with a polarizing filter.Inspiration
Just looking around this area after our hike everything looked perfect. It was a no brainerd.Editing
I did very little to this shot other than so.e minor cropping. I didnt even have photoshoot at that time.In my camera bag
I have a full bag with 2 cameras, a Canon 70D and a Canon 5D M4. For lenses I carry a 50mm Canon, 85mm Canon L series, 24-70mm Sigma Art, a 70-200mm L series,150-600mm Sigma and an 18-200mm that only fits my Canon. 70D. For flashes I carry a Canon 430, and a Strobepro.i have a tripod but I rarely use it. I prefer the freedom of hand held.Feedback
This was a right time right place kinda photo. It can normally be cloudy in the mountains so this day was literally picture perfect.
