South Wales has some amazing coastal locations. This was taken in North Gower, just beyond the Whiteford lighthouse. It is quite some distance from the road so the only visitors tend to be hikers or nature lovers. In all conditions, it is a wonderful place to visit. There is no shortage of wildlife and the dunlins are common, although often difficult to spot with their colours blending into the sand. This one was out for a stroll and put up with my presence provided I didn't move about too much.
