I took this photo in Mount Rainier.Time
It was 2:00 pm when I drove to Stevens Canyon. I saw this waterfall on the side of the road.Lighting
This waterfall is so beautiful but I wasn't sure I would get the good lighting because it was summer time, the sun was still high above, bright and hot. I tried to take several pictures in different positions and moved around on the road till I got to the place that the tree was cover the sun a little bit.Equipment
It's Nikon D800, 28-300mm with polarized filter, tripod.Inspiration

As you know the Golden hour is the best for photography but when you have limit time and you are not sure if you can come back to that place, just try in your ability, walk around, try different angles and camera settings and take a lot of pictures. You never know you may get one or two good ones in 100. It's still worth. I missed several places and kicked myself for that because I thought I would come back when the light was good but I didn't because I couldn't cover all the places I wanted in short time and went different directions.
