I took this picture in Jiggs, NVTime
My brother and I were both visiting our parents when we decided to go for a drive and find the home our father lived in some of the time as a kid. His aunt was the school teacher at the Jiggs school If there were not enough students to keep the school open our grandmother would have him live in Jiggs instead of at home in Elko, NV to help keep the school open. It was cold and cloudy that day, by the time we gathered our spouses to go, it was probably mid dayLighting
The lighting was perfect with the sun breaking through the clouds enough to brighten up the old homeEquipment
Unfortunately I did not have my camera with me. This was taken on my iPhone.Inspiration
I love photographing old buildings, trucks, farm/ranch equipment etc. When seeing the home with the Ruby Mountains behind it I could not resist taking the photoEditing
I honestly don't remember, if I did it was very minimal light adjustmentsIn my camera bag
Currently I have a Canon 5D Mark IV with a 24-70mm telephoto lens and a 70-200 2.8 telephoto lens. At the time of this photo I had an old Canon Rebel.Feedback
Planning ahead is important! I had not gone out to take photos that day but wish I had planned ahead and taken my camera!
