Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken when I was visiting my mother in Maui, Hawaii. This is from my first trip and I took it when we were exploring. I believe this was one of the many waterfalls that line the road that leads to Hana Town. It was quite serene there, I could have spent hours watching the water flow.

Time

I believe this photo was taken around 11 in the morning.

Lighting

All the lighting this photo has is what was provided naturally by the sun.

Equipment

The only equipment I used to take this picture was my iPhone, I didn't have any other camera at the time and still don't really. This particular picture I didn't even add a filter or edit it at all.

Inspiration

At the time of taking this photo it was just one of many. My hope was to try to capture the beauty I was seeing all around me.

Editing

I didn't do any sort of editing for this picture.

In my camera bag

I didn't actually have any sort of equipment with me at the time and I usually don't. Most of my photos are taken with my phone and then I sometimes edit them later.

Feedback

My advice is to take many shots and worry about how they look later. I probably took about 20 other pictures when I took this one and only a few came out the way I wanted.
