Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on a river close to our home in TN. My husband and I were out on a fishing date and the colors were just too perfect not to capture.

Time

We were headed back to the dock so it was around 7:30 PM. Just at sunset!

Lighting

The water made this picture! It was just phenomenal! I’m glad I captured this when I did because 2 min later and the whole scenery was new.

Equipment

This was taken with my IPhone7 plus, surprisingly!!

Inspiration

Scenery pictures are my favorite. I love the natural beauty that comes with sunset pictures! It’s an ever changing canvas!

Editing

No. The colors stood out enough that nothing needed to be done.

In my camera bag

I carry a Nikon D5300. I have my everyday 18-55mm lens, my 50mm lens, extra battery, 2 memory cards, and my tripod.

Feedback

Just get out there! Go explore! Something like this is easier to capture because we have sunsets every night. The great thing is that the colors are always different! Make sure you have a good focal point!
